Bottle Tree Counselling is now offering psychometric testing and report production for clients in the support of appropriate medical treatment.

Psychometric testing does not provide a diagnosis, however uses assessment tools to provide valuable information that is utilised by treating medical professionals such as doctors, paediatricians and psychiatrists in the management of their patients.

Megan is qualified to deliver a number of psychometric assessments that clients are often required to travel long distances to undertake. Assessments are available for all ages from young children to adults covering a variety of areas including cognitive functioning, personality testing, ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, child behaviour, depression, anxiety, non-verbal intelligence, emotional intelligence, parental stress and family assessments.

A referral from your GP will be required in order to undertake psychometric testing with Bottle Tree Counselling. Assessments undertaken are not covered under medicare or private health and must be paid for in full at the time of assessment. Costs vary depending on the assessment type and time required to undertake the assessment. Upon completion, both you and your GP will be provided with a comprehensive report outlining the outcomes of testing and may include suggestions for future treatment options or further areas to investigate. This service is only available for local clients who are able to attend in person appointments for the purposes of psychometric testing.
